Besides the beautiful sceneries and the welcoming hospitality the town is preferred for its position; very close to all surround resorts such as Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi, Ravello, etc. | | Directions | Driving along the SS163 coast road, arriving from Sorrento or Naples, leave the main road and take a sharp right turn to Positano Centro.
(Look for a small sign for POSITANO CENTRO)
Follow the winding road downwards and approximately 2 Khilometers miles you get to the bottom and start going up the 1 way road; 300 meters later on the right side you will notice a big anchor with parking space reserved to Hotel L'Ancora and the entrance to the hotel. | | Transportation | National rails is available as far as Naples from where it is possible to reach Sorrento by subway .
