Overview

	It’s a beautiful island, well-known as a seaside resort, with its fantastic beach and a romantic promenade along the lagoon. It offers many free-time activities, including fashionable shops, shopping centres, famous historic hotels, lovely Liberty villas, a beautiful golf course, a small aero-club, etc.
	Our house lies exactly in the centre of the Lido of Venice, at only 3 minutes’ walk from Piazzale S.Maria Elisabetta, where all water services – water-buses (?vaporetti?), taxis, ferry-boats – arrive from and leave to Venice and the mainland. It is also about 5 minutes’ walk from the beach.

Guest Room Amenities

	We live on the third and fourth floors (the top ones) of an old house, built in the first decade of the 20th century. In 1999 the house was completely renovated.
	The guest room is on the top-floor flat; it’s a comfortable room with a private bathroom.
