"L'Ultimo Eremo" is a charming medieval hamlet set in one of the most idyllic Tuscan scenery: surrounded by gently rolling, green hills and vineyards. The villa in authentic Chianti style is linear, luminous, almost a sculpture: built on three levels, following the natural slope of the land, it plays on the juxtaposition of horizontal and vertical lines: geometric space that interact with the landscape through spacious glass windows.

from Florence or Rome: Take A1 Highway (Milano-Napoli), exit at Valdarno and follow directions to Montevarchi and then take the road s.s.408 to Siena or Gaiole in Chianti. From the village of Gaiole in Chianti follow the directions for "Borgo Casa al Vento" and Barbischio.
