Hotel Il Pino

In the heart of the Amalfi Coast, a welcoming Mediterranean villa has become the Hotel Il Pino. The hotel, elegant and comfortable, is located in the picturesque village of Praiano, and enjoys a panoramic position between the green of the Divine Coast and blue of the sky and sea.

The hotel owes its name to the secular umbrella pine tree immortalized by the celebrated artist P. Scoppetta, and it is the ideal spot for an unforgettable stay, to discover the scenery and culture of this area, but it is also the perfect place for a relaxing holiday by the sea.

The hotel is managed by the owner Mrs. Graziella Proto, who, with the expert help of the staff, ensures warm hospitality, aimed at satisfying every guests single need, in an atmosphere of sincere cordiality. The restaurant is managed by qualified professionals and the kitchen provides seafood specialities and typical traditional Mediterranean dishes infused with the chef’s imagination and creativity.

The real attraction of the hotel is the rooms. Situated on 3 floors which are connected by elevator, they are spacious and light and airy, and have excellent views of the sea. They have been lovingly restored and carefully furnished, all rooms are superior category.

The clean lines of modern design meet and blend with the precious artistic majolica ceramics, the Mediterranean atmosphere is enriched with charm and functionality giving maximum comfort. In each room, you will find a unique ceramic panel depicting one of the many villages of the coast, created by the master ceramist Bottone.

The bathrooms are decorated with Vietri ceramics and are equipped with crystal walk in shower or hydro-massage bath, Jacuzzi. All have hairdryers and courtesy kits. Besides the modern comforts ( air conditioning, direct dial telephone, minibar, satellite TV) the rooms all have terrace or balcony with full sea views.

In this little oasis of tranquility, guests will have the privilege of enjoying the sun and the scenery in total comfort. Hospitality is divided in : twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms ( triple or four bedded rooms with hydro-massage bath). For our younger guests, cots are available on request.

From Salerno (34 Kms), highway gone out A3 Vietri on the Sea pursuance in direction of Amalfi Coast (SS 163);

By train:
Stations in Naples Centrale (to north) and Salerno (to south). From Naples connection for Sorrento with the line of the trains "Circumvesuviana" and then connection from Sorrento, Positano, Praiano, Amalfi and Salerno with line of the buses "Sita"

By airplane:

The modern and panoramic restaurant is the ideal place for a romantic candlelit dinner with a view of the twinkling lights over the gulf or for an exquisite family evening or an evening with friends. The aromas from the sea and the garden, which are characteristic of Campania cuisine, are the main characters of our menu.

Infact, the kitchen exults in the flavors and aromas of the area and it is based on quality and genuine prime materials, the local specialities are prepared with creative intuition, giving excellent quality results. Half board arrangement offers a full meal ( appetizer, pasta or rice dish, main course with side dishes, fruit or dessert).

Our alla carte menu, besides offering a wide choice of dishes, offers original dishes from the sea and land. The wine cellar is well supplied and together with the best known labels, you will also be able to try the newer up- coming wines. Finally, in the small bar area, you will be able to try good wines or a refreshing cocktail in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
