Ein Superstandort, um Sizilien und die Etna-Region zu erkunden.
Phantastische Betreuung und Organisation durch die Inhaber, man kommt als Reisender und geht als Familienmitglied.

La Giara is a b&b with friendly atmosphere. Our room was very clean and cosy and the breakfast was great. But the most important was Patrizia, the owner, who did everything to help us knowing the Etna region.
The location is good if you have your own car and want to avoid the traffic of a crazy and dirty city as Catania, allthough the road to the autostrade usually is jammed. The surroundings are very safe. A b&b over our expectations.

La Giara B&B was everything we wanted for a weekend away in Sicily. The rooms and bathrooms were imaculate and cleaned each day. The rooms are very pleasent with plenty of space and very comfortable. There are double and twin rooms available with either private bathroom or ensuite.
The owners were extremely helpful in helping us book various things over the weekend including superb wine tasting which I must recommend, as well as a trip up Etna and visit to a very small historic town.
They also recommended a couple of great restaurants for some authentic Sicilian food - great pizza as well as other things. Nicolosi is definitely somewhere good to stay, the gateway to mount Etna and away from the busy city.

Thank you very much for being so welcoming, you have a lovely home and run a fantastic B&B. If I was to go back to Sicily sometime (which I am hoping to) I will definitely be staying at La Giara again.
The only bad thing - the weather! It was cold and windy but didn't stop us having a great time.
